The 9:30am Congregation

The 9.30am Worship Service is all encompassing in its appeal to all ages in the local community.

This is a Holy Communion Service with music and Sunday School. Our aim is to reach out to the community through our worship, teaching, children's ministries, broad ranging music, warmth and charity. After the Service, we have morning tea and our Singing Group 'Viva Voce' has its weekly practice.

Upcoming events at the 930am Worship Service are detailed under the Upcoming Events / Weekly Notices sections of this website.

Family Services

On the first Sunday of the month we hold our very special Family Service at 9.30am. This is a fun, interactive Family Worship time where we do things a little differently to the other Sundays in the month which have the Sunday School component. We always follow the service with a ripper sausage sizzle and morning tea. It is a shorter service which leaves more time for chatting afterwards!!

Some of our activites in 2008 included: Teddy Bear's Picnic, Noah's Ark (complete with animal farm!) Socks and Jocks Sunday (in support of CAMCARE) Harvest Festival (in support of Angican Board of Missions - we raised sufficient funds to purchase 2 cows for a village in the Philippines) 'Messy Church' - actually it was a series of very organised action stations where we did craft, write prayers, and made a huge banner for display. It was based on the season of Spring.

Our October Family Service is always based around St Francis of Assisi. We host our annual Pet's Blessing service. We have a guest speaker and everyone is encouraged to bring their pets (real or cuddly). One year a little boy was so desperate to come with a pet (which he didn't have) that he got up early and collected some snails from his garden and put them in a shoe box. All of God's creatures are very welcome though we like the larger ones tethered outside and snakes and spiders safely enclosed in a tamper proof container!!

So come along on the First Sunday of the month at 9.30am and see what all the fuss is about.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.    Romans 12:12
