Emus and Angels Christmas Club
We had a fantastic time at our Aussie Christmas Clubs last year. Our craft was imaginative and brilliantly done by kids and adults alike. Check out the pictures which will give you an idea.

Family Services
What a terrific service we had on Sunday 28 February. We collected loads of food donations which have been delivered to CAMCARE and to a local aged care facility. The children really got involved and we were delighted when our Kinder teachers presented three songs from the Kinder kids. (Some of us in Children's Ministry couldn't resist the call to join in as well) Check out our colourful pictures. We were so happy to present our Kinder Director and assistant with a basket of plants for the Kinder garden. Plus we celebrated a very significant birthday at morning tea for one of our very special parishioners. What a great day!!!

Come andsee our real donkey on March 28th for our Palm Sunday service @ 9.30am. All funds raised from the sale of Donkey Shelter products, morning tea donations etc will be in support of the shelter at Diamond Creek. It is a wonderful service and a great cause to support. The shelter work miracles with these most gorgeous of God's creatures who often get a pretty raw deal. Help us to help them.
This is a snapshot from last year's service. The donkey who came is sponsored by one of our parishioners. Many of us at The Wattle Valley Community have a special friend at the shelter also.

Sunday School

We start our 2010 campaign on Sunday 14 February with St Valentine. Our 9.30am service will have some very special renewal of wedding vows but we will be taking the chocolate and greetings cards out of the celebrations and looking at the history of the man himself. Sunday school will take place during term time during our 9.30am services (except Family Services) Our leaders take the sessions for a whole term and are supported by assistants or parents so we always have two adults in the room. All leaders hold Working With Children Checks. You may contact Maxine at the parish office if you have any questions. She will return your call if she isn't available when you ring.
